How to Remove Block Elements

This tutorial will show you how to remove elements in Stackable blocks like buttons, images and the like.

Removing Block Elements

What it’s For
  • Stackable blocks come with different areas or block elements. While these elements are all useful, some designs require that some block elements be removed (ex. button)
How to Do It
Removing Text
  • Block elements that contain text can be removed by deleting the placeholder text or other text you previously used
  • This will remove headings, sub-headings, descriptions and other text areas of Stackable blocks
  • After removing the text, the placeholder text will be grayed out and will no longer appear when you click out of the block or when you publish your post or page.
Removing Buttons
  • Buttons can be removed by deleting the button text. This will remove individual buttons from Stackable blocks
  • You can remove all buttons from Stackable blocks.
  • After removing the button, the placeholder button will have the text grayed out and will no longer appear when you click out of the block or when you publish your post or page.
Removing Images
  • You are not required to add an image to Stackable blocks. If you do not add any image, the placeholder image icon will be removed when you click out of the block or when you publish your post or page.
  • If you want to remove an image that you previously added, click the x on the upper right corner of the image.
